The Kaitiaki Rangers, in conjunction with Napier Port and Napier City Council - Te Kaunihera o Ahuriri, have been working on something really special this past week or so: enhancing habitat for Kororā in Ahuriri.
This project has involved installation of penguin nesting boxes, predator traps and planting of NZ Natives.
We've been very fortunate with suppliers who went to extra lengths for us to get the materials that were needed promptly.
A special shout-out of thanks goes to: Tumu ITM Gisborne, Tumu ITM Building Centre Hastings, Good Wood NZ, Plant Hawke's Bay Ltd, EmGuard and Advance Landscape Systems.
